Addison Texas located north of Dallas and south of Plano is a beehive of daytime workers numbering over 30,000 while the population of Addison is only about 12,000.  Lots of office towers surrounded by about  150 restaurants, Addison is the place to go to dine out because of  the great variety of restaurants.  The Dallas North Tollroad has a major entrance and exit to Addison and the shopping meccas of the Galleria and Willowbend are only 10 minutes away

Addison is a wonderful place to live because of the thousands of upscale apartment buildings, shops, boutiques and restaurants.  Hence, it is "singles" city. There are also hundreds of upscale high rise condominiums as well as two subdivisions of single family residences.

Addison is famous for its Fourth of July fireworks where tens of thousands of Dallas area people come to see the enormous, exciting fireworks display.

Addison has one of the best police forces as well as fire departments in the country.
